This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile cases, collaborate with top professionals, and contribute to shaping the future of copyright law.Duties:Manage and litigate complex copyright cases, particularly those involving technology and digital platforms.Draft and file motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.Represent clients in hearings, depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.Conduct extensive legal research and provide strategic insights on copyright law and technology issues.Advise clients on legal matters related to copyright and technology.Collaborate with senior attorneys and teams to develop litigation strategies and case management.Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on case progress.Requirements:4-6 years of experience in intellectual property law, specifically copyright litigation.Strong knowledge of the intersection of technology and copyright law.A technical background (e.g., computer science, engineering) is preferred but not required.Excellent academic credentials and proven ability to handle complex legal issues.Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong verbal communication and client relationship management abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.Admission to the state bar in California (other jurisdictions considered).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar (or eligibility to practice in California).Additional bar certifications in other jurisdictions are a plus.Skills:Expertise in copyright law and intellectual property litigation.Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.Strong research and analytical skills, particularly in copyright and technology law.Ability to manage complex litigation and provide sound legal advice.Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom experience.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
