Microsoft 365 Technical Product Marketing team . The ambition of this team is to make

Senior Product Marketing Manager , you’ll play a critical role as

Technical Advisor

in

shaping

the

technical narrative

around

Copilot , influence and shape our product roadmap and be the glue for x-team marketing moment and event execution. The

M365 Copilot Technical Product Marketing team

is looking for someone who is highly strategic, simplifies the complex, and has a passion for product and speaking to technical audiences. This is a chance to be part of the team that is re-wiring the way the world works. To be successful, you must be able to

develop marketing strategies

while also deeply understanding

product roadmap

and features, the product boundaries, and

technical insights . You’ll use your expertise to help

create demo assets ,

provide event support

and communicate the latest innovations our team should be grounded in to understand product truth.

Responsibilities

Develop and Present Demos:

Craft high-quality, engaging demonstrations of Microsoft products for various audiences, including customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft products, staying up-to-date with the latest features and updates and keeping the VP and LT informed.

Synergy Orchestration:

Act as the dot connector across people and products to ensure alignment and clarity.

Cross - Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align technical messaging with broader company goals.

Market Analysis:

Analyze market trends and competitor products to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.

Event Support:

Provide demo strategy and support during marketing events, conferences, and product launches.

Solution Plays Execution:

Contribute to the strategy and development of demos for the solution plays associated with M365 Copilot scope.

Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate complex technical information effectively to marketing stakeholders and leaders within the company.

Contribute to Product Direction:

Actively identify and provide feedback on areas where the user experience (UX) breaks down across product silos. Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user interface that aligns with Microsoft’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience

Experience working across Product Marketing Management teams to translate complicated technical concepts into consumable, language for marketing moments

Experience with communication, presentation or storytelling skills, tailoring the content and delivery to technical audiences

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience

Passion for leveraging AI technology, AI capabilities & AI integration

Interest in AI with the ability to explain it to different audiences

Be a great communicator and storyteller with a knack for simplifying the complex

Deeply understand M365 Copilot and complementary products to deliver the latest innovation insights to the leadership team

Develop demo assets and scripts for Tier 1 events and press / analyst engagements

Make sense from often ambiguous environment and effectively prioritize your work

Be outcome orientated and leverage the work of others

Demonstrated proven project management and v-team leadership experience

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
