Senior Human Resource Business Partner
who embraces culture and continuous improvement activities to join our team. As
Senior HR Business Partner , you will be responsible for driving leadership for HR operations, employee relations, and for partnering with HR and business leadership on talent development and cultural alignment. The ideal candidate for this position will be a driven HR professional with a desire to grow professionally within the organization. The HR group is team-oriented and has a hands-on approach. This position will be
onsite in Middlefield, CT,
will report to the VP of HR for Zygo Navitar, and will include travel between the sites as needed.Key responsibilities:Streamline and execute improvements to key HR processes across the business.Employee relations and conflict resolution - coaching managers to hold team members accountable and upgrade talent while respecting confidentiality.Support the build out of training programs and partnerships for workforce development.Facilitate annual people processes to include open enrollment, employee engagement, compensation planning, and performance management.Embrace appropriate change management and champion continuous improvement opportunities within the business.Collaborate with Leadership and HR partners to facilitate talent development planning, knowledge transfer plans, and onboarding strategies.Required skills and qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeHR Certification a plusExperience in HR multi-national and/or matrix settings with multiple sites in a highly-technical manufacturing organizationProven business partnering experienceTakes initiative, drives to achieveSolution-oriented - uses problem solving and analytical reasoning to get to the best resultDecisive and able to effectively prioritizeCurious - open to diverse perspectivesManages changeProactive communicator and active listenerEnsures AccountabilityCoaches and Develops othersDue to the nature of Zygo’s programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the US and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.Bring your passion, commitment, and curiosity to Zygo, where our values—curiosity, collaboration, persistence, confidence, problem-solving, and safety—guide every step of our journey.
