Senior Software Engineer , you will support Zygo’s expanding workload in the development of metrology and high-precision optical fabrication technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and debug new software while enhancing existing products.Implement advanced signal processing algorithms for imaging and interferometry, including filtering, surface texture analysis, Fourier transforms, and phase analysis, ensuring scalability and computational efficiency.Contribute to our software framework in areas like visualization and hardware control.Understand and apply surface metrology principles.Operate advanced high-tech instrumentation and contribute to continuous improvement.Required Skills:Education : B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.Experience : 5+ years in professional software development, emphasizing modular applications and best practices.Technical Skills : Proficiency in programming (data structures, algorithms, OOP) and familiarity with the full software stack.Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities with a background in mathematical and theoretical methods.Additional Knowledge : Optics, physics, and advanced mathematics (Fourier, signal processing) are advantageous.Bring your passion, commitment, and curiosity to Zygo, where our values—curiosity, collaboration, persistence, confidence, problem-solving, and safety—guide every step of our journey.
