Vale Group has partnered with a company in the distribution industry, based in the area of Flower Mound, TX, who is actively searching for an experienced Corporate Controller to work onsite. This is a high-level opportunity offering up to $190,000 annually, based on experience. This role is pivotal in steering the company's financial reporting and accounting operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in a dynamic, international business environment.
Requirements of the Corporate Controller:
Extensive SEC filing experience, including 10K and 10Q, is essential.Proficient in revenue recognition standards, specifically ASC 606.CPA certification is preferred but not required.Strong experience with NetSuite preferredProven track record in a financial leadership role within a high revenue company.Understanding of tax structures in an international public company is advantageous.Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller:
Oversee all company accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk.Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.Manage the preparation and filing of all required SEC reports including periodic filings, annual reports, and ad hoc filings.Direct and oversee budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-term forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.Develop and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.Maintain external relationships with auditors, lawyers, tax advisers, bankers, and shareholders.Manage and lead department staff, enhancing professional growth and maintaining high levels of performance.
