Who Are You?
As the Systems Support Specialist you will provide tier 1 support to the Bank's operations, with an emphasis on internal customer support. Your primary responsibility will be providing exceptional customer service to both local and remote employees through installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of workstations and applications.
What You Will Do:Perform hardware and software installationIdentify, recommend, and perform hardware/software upgrades and/or replacement.Perform regular maintenance for workstations, including system configuration updates, firmware updates, and software patching to maintain a cohesive environmentDevelop and/or maintain procedures and processes as necessaryPerform and report on software and hardware asset inventoryProvide IT support to internal customers including, but not limited to, support for equipment, connectivity, and business functionsRespond to issues, document corrective actions, and escalate as needed in the Bank's ticket tracking systemAssist with training, deployment, and updates of IT systemsIdentify ongoing customer issues and recommended resolutionsPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:
A minimum of one year IT help desk experiencePrevious experience connecting PCs to networks including cablingPrevious experience with Windows 10 in a Windows domain managed environmentPrevious experience troubleshooting PC issues in a business environmentPrevious experience maintaining OS and Software patches in a Windows domain managed environmentMust be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office applicationsInterpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with team members and all levels of business users and managementCommunication skills to effectively work with non-technical people on technical issuesInitiative and ability to work under limited supervision with attention to detailProblem resolution skills and ability to follow through the resolution cycleOrganizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesDrive to learn new technologies and skill setsExperience with deploying and maintaining workstation images desired but not requiredExperience with configuration and patch management software desired but not requiredExperience with PowerShell or other scripting automation methods desired but not requiredWorking Conditions/Demands:
Professional office setting.Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.Able to position self to maintain computers or other IT equipment, including under the desks and in the server closetFrequently moves equipment weighing up to 25 poundsOther common parameters entail climbing stairs, walking, reaching, squatting, crawling, or kneelingWho Are We?
