Tōnui Ake Nei | Thriving Aotearoa is our vision for a future where we work together so that all people and their communities can live the lives they value.The Recovery Services Team within our System Commissioning & Performance Group has the end-to-end responsibility for coordinating design, commissioning, delivery, and ongoing management of health and disability services that seek to achieve positive outcomes for injured New Zealanders. This ensures that our clients have access to appropriate health, disability, and rehabilitation services when they need them.You will be an integral part of System Commissioning & Performance and a member of a cohesive, hardworking portfolio team which utilizes cross-functional ways of working within ACC and across the health sector to achieve our goals.As our Portfolio Advisor in Recovery Services, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of health and disability services, in line with ACC's Strategy and international best practice. You will contribute to regular reporting on the management and financial performance of services, prepare reports and decision papers to support service initiatives such as memos, business cases, and project briefs. You will also lead the development of documentation and processes to support providers and internal ACC staff, support procurement activities, and contribute to the implementation of projects and programmes. You will be regularly liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve these tasks.This is a permanent role that can be worked from any of our ACC offices (but not fully remote).Minimum Requirements:
You have 3+ years of experience designing services collaboratively in either the health, social service, or disability sectors.You take an analytical and evidence-based approach to problem-solving and are confident using data to inform your decisions.You're a team player willing to work across the organization to deliver results and can build networks with others.You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can use these well to inform and influence.You apply a continuous quality improvement mindset to drive operational and service improvements.You are proactive at finding and prioritizing work that aligns with the team's objectives. You do not simply find problems but are willing and capable of solving them.Previous experience in health purchasing and portfolio management would be ideal but is not essential.This is an exciting opportunity with plenty of variety in your role and a friendly supportive team.
