to join our team of compassionate, positive and driven professionals. We are looking for someone to direct HR strategies and operations across our 350+ employees and 5 locations, with high motivation to continue to grow our successful pediatric therapy practice.

We are looking for a well-organized, tech savvy and efficient Human Resource professional to lead our Human Resource team. The ideal candidate would be able to oversee the development and administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; employee relations; organization design; talent acquisition; performance and talent management; engagement; worker's compensation; and training and development. This position is fast paced and ideal for individuals motivated to be part of a quickly growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Initiate, develop, and implement human resource programs that support the organization's vision and core values of high employee satisfaction and retention.Identify plans and programs to better recruit and retain staff.Maintain efficient communication among CEO, Directors and employees.Create and update employee handbook, company policies, procedures, job descriptions, and forms as appropriate while ensuring compliance with all federal and local employment laws and regulations.Develop, implement, and manage the performance evaluation process and compensation programs, ensuring competitive standing in the marketplace. Advise management of trends and identifies issues related to performance and compensation.Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction consistent with the organization's strategic initiatives.Oversee the recruiting and onboarding process from candidate identification, screening and interviewing, competitive offer presentation, and new employee onboarding.Oversee employee orientation process, assimilation and training strategies, and ongoing employee development plans.Advise managers on disciplinary action process of in accordance with company policies.Maintain employee information and documentation in HCM system.Conduct necessary investigations on employee relations issues and advises management on appropriate resolution.Analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.Train management on leadership and HR skills. Identify training opportunities and works with Clinic Directors to implement.Represent company in legal proceedings, unemployment hearings and workers' compensation settlements.Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's HCM system.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.Complete special projects and other duties as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree or HR certification strongly preferred.At least eight (8) years of human resource management experience and prior experience working in healthcare is preferredExperience managing and developing staff members preferredProven track records of successfully developing and implementing human resources programs. Prior experience of HR program development within a fast growing company.Direct experience setting up and administering employee benefits programs and payroll systems required.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and a high level of professionalism.Must work collaboratively with all levels within the organization.Proficiency utilizing iSolved or other HCM systemsThis is a hybrid position with Human Resource's main office located in west loop of Chicago and onsite visits across our 5 pediatric therapy clinics and schools.

We have three Blue Bird Day locations location in Chicago (west loop), Chicago (northcenter) and Wheaton.

is a private pediatric therapy clinic located in Chicago's West Loop Neighborhood. Our collaborative team of therapists provide occupational, ABA, developmental, physical, speech, and feeding therapy services in our clinic, and at our clients' homes and schools. This means our therapists' caseloads include diverse clientele and flexible work schedules!
