Ideal candidates should be hard working, autonomous, and organized. Candidates should be eager to join a collaborative Human Resource team to assist in recruiting for a multi-disciplinary team of therapy providers including behavior technicians, BCBAs, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Therapeutic Assistants, Administrators, and more!
Responsibilities
Assist in the end to end recruitment which includes posting jobs in ATS, interviewing applicants, scheduling onsite/virtual interviews, and the entire hiring process.
Assist in managing the applicant tracking system and update applicant statuses to ensure accurate data reporting.
Participate in external recruiting events (e.g. job fairs) and assist with organic recruitment of applicants via LinkedIn.
Conduct new hire orientation onsite or virtually to introduce HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate with all locations to resolve onboarding issues.
Ensure employees have the appropriate documentation and certifications by running certification audits and assisting employees with updating documentation.
Assist in maintaining and updating employee data in the HRIS.
Help answer employee questions on a variety of HR topics and policies through the Zendesk ticketing system.
Assist on a variety of ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives.
This is a 20-30 hour per week position. Monday-Friday 9am-2pm.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of human resources, recruiting, or administrative experience.
Experience in the health care industry preferred.
This is a hybrid position with most days virtual but flexibility needed for onsite visits across our 5 locations (Wheaton, Avondale, West Loop, Northcenter) and visits to our Human Resource main office in the West Loop of Chicago.

Our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals. We have three Blue Bird Day locations in Chicago (West Loop, Northcenter) and Wheaton.
Eyas Landing
is a private pediatric therapy clinic located in Chicago's West Loop Neighborhood. Our collaborative team of therapists provides occupational, ABA, developmental, physical, speech, and feeding therapy services in our clinic, and at our clients' homes and schools. This means our therapists' caseloads include diverse clientele and flexible work schedules!
