The Cybersecurity Analyst is the lifeblood of BETA's Information Security program: pursuing findings from our Security Operations Center (SOC), tracking remediation, and identifying opportunities for improvement to BETA's Information Security posture. This Analyst also cross-trains with BETA's Cybersecurity Incident Analyst to deepen our Information Security bench.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Triage findings from BETA's SOC and other sensors, owning resolution where possible anddocumenting/tracking resolution by others where neededDocument and track remediation of vulnerabilities and security-relevant misconfigurations, leadingperiodic reviews with operators of affected assets to guide resolutionConduct periodic access-control audits across BETA's information environmentContinuously improve supporting resources and training by authoring- and updating documentationContribute reporting to inform periodic (monthly, annual, etc.) enterprise security posture reviewsParticipate in BETA's Information Security Incident Response Team (IRT)Cross-train with BETA's Cybersecurity Incident Analyst and understand their workflow sufficiently toprovide coverage in the event of their absenceMinimum Qualifications:
Strong general understanding of information security/cybersecurity topicsStrong teamwork orientationDemonstrated ability to interpret security information for non-practitionersExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience collecting and analyzing data for reporting purposesStrong sense of initiativeAn interest in information security/cybersecurity Incident ResponseAbove and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
Professional experience in an information security/cybersecurity roleProfessional experience with enterprise identity management (IdM; "user account management")Experience delivering information security training in a professional settingExperience collecting data in support of reporting via web services APIsAcademic degree in information security/cybersecuritySANS GSEC certification or similarPhysical Demands and Work Environment:
This role consists primarily of computer work and presentations to small groups in an office environment
