We are currently seeking
Warehouse Associates (Warehouse I)
for an immediate start this Friday. The role involves performing general warehouse duties, with a primary focus on order picking, inventory management, and operating industrial trucks. If you have prior experience on order pickers, clamp trucks, or other powered industrial vehicles (e.g., forklifts).
Location: McDonough, GA
Job Responsibilities:
Operate order pickers, clamp trucks, and other powered industrial vehicles (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.Pick and prioritize materials to fill customer orders.Stage products for loading onto delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including sorting and restocking inventory.Help maintain the warehouse environment by performing housekeeping tasks (e.g., cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and warehouse floors).Verify incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring product accuracy (amount, size, type).Report discrepancies, over- and under-shipments, outdated or damaged stock, and assist in the return of products to vendors.Participate in periodic inventory counts.Assist with administrative duties such as preparing paperwork and submitting inventory reports.Qualifications:
Experience:Prior experience operating order pickers, clamp trucks, or powered industrial trucks required.Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse operations is preferred.Education:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Skills:Time management: Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Safety-conscious: Ability to operate machinery and handle products safely.Physical stamina: Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving physical movement and lifting.Communication: Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with team members and other departments.Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for long periods.Use of hands to operate machinery and manual lifting required.Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
