Encino Environmental Services, LLC (Encino) is an environmental consulting firm and field-services contractor providing innovative custom and technical environmental solutions in the areas of source evaluation (Emissions Performance Testing), leak detection and repair (LDAR), continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS), environmental construction, and advanced data systems. Additionally, Encino provides contextual data systems for compliance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs and satellites (micro-SATS) for greenhouse gas (GHG) detection from space.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and maintaining a formalized sales & marketing plan and supporting business processes, including recruiting, developing and managing a professional sales team. Additionally, the VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for collaborating with operations and the technical teams and ensuring their sales efforts are managed, including prioritizing opportunities. The VP of Sales and Marketing sets incremental goals in conjunction with the other functional departments, sets leading and lagging metrics and tracks against them, oversees completion of monthly forecasting, tracks sales against forecasts, and manages the budgets for the sales group. Management and oversight of the sales team opportunity and revenue forecasts is imperative to ensure the accuracy of reporting to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors (BOD) and providing periodic information to the Company’s shareholders. The VP of Sales and Marketing will also oversee the coordination of conferences and industry events, participation in these events and occasionally speaking in these events. The VP of Sales and Marketing is ultimately responsible for ensuring the success of the company’s sales efforts and revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Identify growth opportunities and new market segments to expand our customer base.
Lead sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and KPIs to drive success.
Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners to build long-term value and loyalty.
Marketing Strategy and Execution
Define and execute a brand and marketing strategy that differentiates the company in the marketplace.
Oversee content marketing, digital advertising, and social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Drive lead generation and customer acquisition efforts, ensuring alignment with sales goals and customer needs.
Implement data-driven insights and analytics to continually optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure effective delivery of marketing initiatives.
Cross-functional Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing input into overall company strategy and direction.
Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales and marketing teams.
Represent the sales and marketing department in executive meetings, reporting on performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
Budgeting and Resource Management
Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while achieving growth objectives.
Allocate resources effectively, balancing short-term revenue goals with long-term strategic initiatives.
Conduct regular performance reviews, adjusting tactics and investments as necessary to ensure optimum results.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. preferably in environmental or oil field related services is required.
Experience
Experience in the Oil & Gas business is a plus and experience in the Environmental Services business is a strong plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and leading high-performance teams.
Experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies in a B2B or B2C environment.
Other
Possess the ability to travel (up to 75%) and the ability to work outside of normal working hours for customer-facing events.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs required. Willingness to travel with equipment and conference booths, etc. as necessary.
Be fluent in English and possess exceptional communications skills. Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
Salesforce or other CRM software skills are highly desired.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, and customer acquisition strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
