The Director, Performance Partner Vacation Rentals (Sales Excellence) will act as a key partner to the Commercial VP of Vacation Rentals, their leadership teams and cross-functional partners in driving go-to-market excellence in their Market Management teams' field operations. They will act as a key enabler in operationalizing acquisition, growth and optimization strategies, whilst overseeing and driving the execution of daily operational run the business needs of the Market Management teams. This role will have you creating and executing the Field Operations strategy and roadmap, continuously identifying improvement opportunities to our processes, data, analytics and systems infrastructure and ultimately enabling the achievement of the team’s overall business performance objectives.
In This Role You Will:
Partner with Commercial leadership across the Vacation Rentals Commercial teams within Travel Partnerships and Media (TPM), serving as the main business engagement conduit into the Field Operations and Commercial Operations organizations.
Operationalize and deliver multiple, centrally run programs, market strategies and partnerships that will accelerate business performance.
Help design and improve ongoing Market Management operating systems and performance management reviews with Market Management leadership.
Proactively identify best practices and new strategies, techniques and methods that drive business performance and scale them globally.
Manage and continuously improve account segmentation, contact strategies, coverage models and territory alignment.
Facilitate the target and quota setting process that drives variable incentive plans.
Own clear communication between teams and regions to Commercial leadership regarding performance against targets.
Assist in developing territory and segment specific acquisition, optimization and growth plans.
Support in developing and executing market strategies and programs in lead generation, partner acquisition, and conversion rate improvements.
Review and analyze the effectiveness of sales incentives against the organization’s strategy.
Drive the execution and operationalization of central programs across multiple teams and regions.
Identify and drive timely resolution of reporting issues and areas of opportunity.
Leverage analyses to customize market management techniques and enhance performance.
Define the key support systems/processes required to meet business growth objectives.
Assist in evaluating teams’ performance and prepare ad hoc analysis as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years in a Sales Excellence, Revenue Operation, Sales Operations or Business Operations role.
Experience in advanced segmentation, coverage models, and quota setting.
Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Salesforce skills; advanced skills in data visualization/reporting solutions (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
Ability to design and enhance complex business and financial models.
Experience leading large scale business transformation programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional environment.
Experience building and executing market strategies, territory plans and programs.
Develop and monitor metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve sales productivity.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $190,000.00 to $266,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $304,000.00, based on ongoing performance.
Starting pay will vary based on multiple factors, including location, budget, and individual qualifications.
