1.General job duties.
Types of procedures required.All activities of daily living, delegation of care, telemetry monitoring, familiarization with trachs and chest tubes, documentation in EPIC
2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)EKG 12 lead, EPIC, bladder scanner, ventilators (ICU-only), bipap and cpap
3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.ICU experience; no minimum necessary
4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)BLS and ACLS(preferred)
5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?
If so, how often? Are weekends required?)1830-0700; fill in to schedule holes to accommodate needs, no call, weekend depending on needs minimum 5 weekend shifts out of 12
6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)Med/Surg and ICU
7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.Med/Surg 45; ICU 10
8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)Med/Surg 4-6:1
