**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 12-hour nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** ICU experience preferred, no minimum necessary
**License:** Valid RN license
**Certifications:** BLS required, ACLS preferred
**Must-Have:** Willingness to take full patient load in ICU and Med/Surg units
**Job Description:**
- Conduct all activities of daily living for patients and delegate care as needed.- Monitor telemetry and ensure familiarity with tracheostomy and chest tube management.- Document patient care accurately in EPIC, the electronic health record system.- Operate essential equipment such as EKG 12 lead, bladder scanner, ventilators for ICU only, BiPAP, and CPAP machines.- Working schedule involves filling in schedule gaps and may include weekend work (minimum 5 weekend shifts out of 12).- Potentially float between Med/Surg and ICU units with full patient loads.- Work within a department size including Med/Surg with 45 beds and ICU with 10 beds.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-6:1 for Med/Surg and 2:1 for ICU.- Adhere to the blue/navy scrubs dress code.- Participate in comprehensive training and orientation program tailored for acute care settings.- Understand and comply with the drug-free campus policy by producing a negative drug screen for all panels.
