Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

Development of engineering SOP's using manufacturing engineering practicesResponsible for developing and maintaining effective and efficient manufacturing processes to support the Machine Shop and Assembly Shop with machining and assembly of a wide variety of components and electro-mechanical assembliesGenerate machining programs for CNC machining centers including turning, milling, grinding, and gear shapingParticipate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviewsEvaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documentsDesign and procure tools/equipmentIdentify, evaluate, and solve production problemsLead training of assemblers to improve and introduce new processesPrepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing the principals of concurrent engineering

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.Proficient developing CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.10 years' experience.Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skillsMRP Systems experience preferredExperience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred
