Position Overview

23XI Racing is looking for a college junior or senior to serve as the Human Resource Intern. The Human Resource intern will gain hands on experience with assisting the HR department with recruitment, administrative support, people engagement and the many ongoing responsibilities within the department.

This is a paid internship. You will need to be able to work 20-40 hours per week. Hours may include some racing events, throughout the semester that may occur on evenings and/or weekends. This position will be on site.

Spring 2025: February 17th, 2025 - April 25th, 2025

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate and attend team meetings and work sessionsAssist with HR documentation and employee paperworkSupport the HR team with day to day administrative tasks as neededAids in recruitment, research and the development of the internship programHelp design training opportunities and survey tools to understand the new employee experienceSupport in organizing company eventsOpenly share new innovative ideas to help current goals of HR departmentProvide support for various aspects of the onboarding and offboarding processRequired Skills, Experience, and Abilities

To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

Sophomore, Junior or Senior obtaining a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related fieldSome course work in Recruitment, Onboarding and Labor LawsGPA 3.0+ on 4.0 scaleProficient with office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointThe ability to work independently, juggle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced office environmentExcellent written, oral, presentation and communication skillsAbility to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skillsStrong attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAble to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when privy to sensitive informationBe a flexible and reliable teammate, both within the department and the company as a wholePresents self in professional manner and has the ability to interact with all levels of organization
