Job Description:
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opening for a Capture Director supporting the Mission Solutions Sector (MSS) within the Intelligence and Homeland Security (IHS) Division. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to play a key role as we work together to create the Next GDIT and apply the breadth of resources available in our new organization to critical technology and mission challenges. In this position, you will be responsible for leading capture activities in support of winning key opportunities within the Enterprise and Mission IT business of the MSS Sector. As a Capture Director you will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business contracts with value ranging from $75M to $500M. You will be a key member of the MSS Sector Growth Team, collaborating with operations and engineering personnel across business units to capture and win Enterprise and Mission IT opportunities primarily within DIA and other Defense Intelligence agency customer segments.
How a Capture Director Will Make An ImpactResponsible for pursuing Enterprise and Mission IT (and related) opportunities within the Federal (IC, DoD) space.Provide strategic thinking and execution for capture efforts through determining capture team resource requirements and managing costs throughout the Bid Acquisition Process.Engage with customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to capture new and recompete business opportunities.Interface between Business Development and internal and external stakeholders (Business Units, Operations and Engineering Staff, and Corporate functional organizations) to develop technical, management and pricing strategies.Understand capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses and direct the development of solution development, CONOPS and path to win.Provide customer and business knowledge through business intelligence to ensure the team fully understands the desires and needs of the customers and the capabilities of potential competitors.Develop win themes and strategies including value propositions. Identify and obtain commitment from industry partners to include OEMs to bridge gaps and increase the Pwin.Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.Co-Lead with cost estimating team the pricing strategy to provide alignment to the solution and the optimal cost advantage for the bid.Co-Lead with Proposal Manager the color team reviews to ensure that reviews are conducted in a repeatable manner adhering to procedures and processes.Support continual business development process improvement.Responsible for capturing, documenting, maintaining and reporting capture and pursuit metrics.Meets and/or exceeds performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success while maintaining and implementing a professional approach to include full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and Business Ethics Codes and Regulations.What You'll Need To Succeed:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldRequired Experience: 10+ years of of proven experience capturing and winning new business ($250M+ opportunities) in the DIA and other Defense Intelligence agency markets.Required Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a high-performance team of professionals toward achieving business objectives. This includes experience running black hats, analyzing competitive landscapes, leading review teams, and the ability to develop and implement creative strategies into winning bids, including a thorough understanding of price-to-win analysis.Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret/SCI CI POLY security clearanceRequired Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze market and customer trends and well versed in industry practices/trends with knowledge of Federal Government acquisition/ procurement policies and regulationsLocation: On-site in Herndon, VAUS Citizenship RequiredGdit Is Your Place:

The likely salary range for this position is $191,250 - $258,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
