2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)DRAGER VENTS, RESPIRONICS BIPAP/CPAP, SMART VEST, MICRONEBS, MORTARA EKG CARTS, COMPUTERIZED CHARTING, PYXIS SYSTEM
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.COMPETENCY IN CARE/TREATMENT OF ALL AGES. EFFECTIVE EQUIPMENT SKILLS (LISTED ABOVE), COMMUNICATION EFFECTIVELY, PT CARES, ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE DAILY DUTIES.
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)GRADUATE OF ACCREDITED APPROVED PROGRAM FOR RESPIRATORY CARE WITH MINNESOTA LICENSURE.. BLS, ACLS, NRP
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)DAYS AND NIGHTS. BOTH 8 AND 12 HOUR SHIFTS WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS
6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ALL DEPTS/AREAS WITHIN THE HOSPITAL-ED, ICU, MED. SURG, PEDS, OB, AND FAMILY CARE AREAS

10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.BASIC INTRODUCTION TO HOSPITAL SPECIFICS, FLOOR LAYOUTS,EQUIPMENT STORAGE AREAS, PT CARES AREAS, RESPIRATORY CARE DEPT., REVIEW OF HOSPITAL POLICY AS WELL AS DEPT POLICY. BRIEF COMPUTER TRAINING.

Needs to have excellent PT assessment skills, ability to work with diversified cultures. Honesty and integrity.
