Overview
This role will assist on conducting bank level financial budget preparation, establishing budget process, and developing calculation methodology for budget allocation. Other main duites include assisting on conducting financial performance evaluations (PE) related procedures, PE monitoring and calculation, performing financial business intelligence such as peer analysis and internal financial forecasting, reviewing reports and preparing analysis to the management and Head Office, etc.
Responsibilities
Financial Budgeting Assist on prepare and maintain the New York Branch budget policy and related procedures. Assist the team to complete the annual financial budget preparation and help on communication with budget-related units. Perform analysis of the Bank's overall and business units' budget performance as needed. Conduct budget review and rollover as needed. Financial Performance Evaluation
Assist on conduct bank level and business unit level financial performance evaluation. Assist on develop procedure for financial performance evaluation and create PE frame and scoring methods. Help on documenting the performance plan that includes measures, desired outcomes, and standards. Conduct performance appraisals or performance reviews and highlight to management if a business unit meets the desired performance level Process development and others
Develop new financial analysis process as needed. Conduct peer review financial analysis. Enhancing financial forecasting process. Maintain record retention of daily A&L and P&L reports. Participate in meetings, conference for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions. Provide financial analysis specific to the needs of the assigned business unit(s). Respond and prepare responses to requests from HO or other departments in a timely manner. Qualifications
B.A degree or B.S. degree or above in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required At least 5 years of business analysis on banking or financial services industry required Excellent communication and writing skills required Bilingual skills in English and Chinese required Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
