Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our office. Your responsibilities will include scheduling inbound truck appointments, handling postage requirements, maintaining ADP time cards, setting up new customer accounts, preparing for customer/vendor visits, completing monthly report printing, and managing inventory levels. You will also be responsible for filing shipping and receiving paperwork and handling operations paperwork, claims, and tax documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Schedule inbound truck appointments for receiving.
+ Handle inbound and outbound postage requirements.
+ Maintain ADP time cards and generate reports.
+ Set up new customer accounts, tax certifications, and maintain changes in the system.
+ Prepare for periodic customer/vendor visits, plant tours, and PowerPoint presentations.
+ Complete monthly report printing requirements and expense submittals.
+ Keep the office organized and orderly.
+ Ensure all shipping and receiving paperwork is filed correctly and completed on time.
+ Manage inventory using our system to order supplies and services.
+ Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, which may change at any time with or without notice.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
+ Strong math skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Attention to detail and pride in work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Leadership experience is a plus.
+ SAP knowledge is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is primarily a desk job (90%) with occasional work in a manufacturing environment (10%). You must be comfortable going on the manufacturing floor. We offer great benefits, including 3 weeks of paid vacation and 5 paid sick days.
