Forklift Material Handler

Adecco is assisting their client in Montebello, CA with hiring a Material Handler. Ideal candidate should have general warehouse experience and MUST have experience operating a Stand Up Reach and Sit Down Forklift. This is a 1st shift 6am-2:30pm (overtime will require an earlier start time and some Saturdays) Pay is $20.00/hr. Responsibilities Include for (Distribution & Stockroom): • Operate forklift and hand pallet jack • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company • Perform daily precheck inspection of forklift • Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace • Consolidate partial pallets for incoming/outbound goods • Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally • Good Communication Skills • Maintain cleanliness of workstation Responsibilities (Distribution) • Pick, Pack and Stage orders to be shipped • Load and unload trucks and containers • Ability to operate dock plates • Ability to operate shrink and strapping machines • Ability to read work instructions and bills of lading Responsibilities (Stockroom) • Consolidate and transfer received inventory into warehouse (aka “putaways”) • Responsible for transfer of material to subassembly stations. • Sub Assembly parts identification skills • Responsible for assisting in material handling to other work centers, as required by Supervisor. • Assist in cycle counting as required by Supervisor For immediate consideration, please submit your resume.
