Job Description About the role: Join Takeda as the Associate Director, Consumer Marketing (Sleep Disorders) where you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and refining unbranded and branded consumer marketing materials to prepare for a best-in-class launch. The Associate Director will develop and execute strategic marketing plans, conduct market analysis and contribute to the US launch readiness. You will leverage data and insights to inform the decision-making processes, ensuring that our strategies are rooted in a deep understanding of consumer and patient needs and behaviors. As part of the Sleep Disorders Brand Team, you will accomplish this through collaboration and strategic discussion with the end goal always being to win for patients. How you will contribute: Act as day-to-day lead in the development and implementation of all marketing materials for the launch partnering with multiple internal stakeholders and external agencies. Lead Consumer campaign planning development; channel strategy, execution, and measurement of campaigns; and ensure performance integrity and measurability of digital marketing ecosystem. Help develop unbranded and branded campaigns and core message architectures to ensure alignment with broader Sleep Disorders franchise's strategic priorities. Build awareness through owned, earned and paid digital media channels. Partner closely with Insights & Analytics to distill insights, validate business opportunities, optimize marketing mix, and monitor ROI of individual tactics. Leverage brand insights to inform segmentation, channel mix preferences, and targeting of Consumers/Patients. Identify critical design elements for initiatives/ promotions designed to inspire desired Consumers/Patients behavior change. Proactively recognize industry/competitive trends to identify brand growth opportunities and identify industry and internal best practices to build organizational capability. Manage multiple agencies from strategic brief ideation through to delivery, holding them accountable to Takeda USBU policies, standards, timelines and budgets. Collaborate closely with Consumer Marketing peers to realize marketing synergies and deliver best-in-class experience. Partner with HCP Marketing peers and other relevant functions to improve the journey for patients with Narcolepsy. Develop strong working partnerships with cross-functional team (i.e. advocacy, patient services, medical, legal, regulatory, compliance, IT, etc.). May facilitate Brand Planning process, leading cross-functional Team through key Brand Planning milestones. Oversee the direction and deliverables of multiple priorities ensuring internal stakeholder alignment, across agency partners, and cross functional partners including PRT, medical affairs, compliance, and IT. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 8 years’ experience with increasing responsibilities in marketing, sales or related function, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in marketing. 2 years working on a pharmaceutical marketing team Consumer marketing experience leading campaign development through promotional asset execution and driving impactful customer experiences Experience in marketing strategy, tactic design and measurement with an ability to innovate and gain buy-in from internal colleagues and external partners Ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies to guide customer experiences Ability to positively influence coworkers toward common goals, foster collaboration, and enable teamwork. For Location: USA - MA - Cambridge - Kendall Square - 500 U.S. Base Salary Range: 149,100.00 - 234,300.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
