JOB DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Admission Coordinators will work with referral resources to coordinate admissions to the Centerstone Recovery Center and ensure care coordination. Will be responsible to work closely with justice system, child protective services, Centerstone outpatient clinics, other referral agencies and each residential program team. In this position, Attention details to help collect information to complete prior authorizations, phone outreach, complete assessments and screenings. This position requires someone with strong organization skills, ability to communication, and coordinate transitions into Centerstone Recovery Centers 28 day residential services. This includes direct assistance in gaining access to services, coordination or care, oversight of the entire case, linkage to appropriate services, and ensuring continuation of entitlements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESJustify medical necessity prior to admissionWork with Medical team to help determine client's needs for additional services prior to admissionFacilitate client's timely admission and access to residential treatmentVerify insurance and secure a payer prior to scheduling admission.Work with managed care team and financial navigators if necessaryTimely response to persons/agencies requesting admissions information.Actively communicate to residential teams and coordinate details to provide smooth access and admissionKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent Customer ServiceStrong time managementOrganizational skillsUtilization of electronic medical record and data basisAbility to work with autonomy or in a team environmentWorking knowledge of substance use/ co-occurring disordersQualificationsEducation LevelBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; preferably in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred. Will accept minimum two years of experience in social service field.Years of ExperienceMinimum two years of experience working with individuals with substance use/co-occurring disorders.Experience working with persons in recovery from substance use disorders, behavioral health, criminal justice, or social services field. Pay Range:$15.75--$22.00
