ROLE OVERVIEW
The Replenishment Buyer will be at the forefront of innovation and style, ensuring our customers have access to the most current trends. You will be responsible for keeping up a reputation in the fashion world that is second to none. You will be responsible for driving the Test and Reorder model for assigned categories to ensure that the best-selling products are reordered in a timely manner at the best possible cost and quality. The Replenishment Buyer will need to react fast to bring back the merchandise to the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish solid vendor relations to get the best possible deliveries at optimum cost and best qualityCommunicate with vendors on item availability: In stock units by size and other color offerings, incoming stock/pre-orders by size and delivery dates, and custom cut dates and minimum order quantities (MOQ's)Negotiate discounts and best possible costs, including air costs if needed at an earlier datePresents recommendations to Planning and BuyingEnter purchase orders into the system and|or upload ordersRecommend color|print expansion of core items|key buys to Vice President, BuyingRecommend counter sourcing with other vendors if facing problem deliveriesCoordinate with Product Development if needed on core programs|key itemsReview selling reports to keep track of how reorders are sellingMonitor program buys and core items to help manage the flow; i.e. move up or move backRecommend promotional activity if needed to drive additional sales volume.Aware of fashion market trends and new, current and emerging best practice within Merchandising|BuyingROLE REQUIREMENTS
Six plus years of experience in Replenishment, Data Analysis or a related fieldExperience working with vendors and negotiatingExperience with product development preferredPassionate about fashion and trend analysisDemonstrated ability in financial analysisExperience analyzing data and providing actionable insightsExperienced in Excel - can perform complex functions, such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tablesExperience in digital and|or multi-brand setting preferredStrong knowledge of and the ability to apply retail math concepts, including markup, margin planning, open to buy, and inventory productivity measuresMust be able to adapt to constant change and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMust be results oriented and have excellent organizational skillsMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust possess a keen eye for design, trends, and colorBFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related fieldEnglish, additional language(s) an advantage.Schedule of this position: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | OnsiteBENEFITS
