Position Summary:
The Product Specialist Tech will assist with inspections, rework, and testing duties assigned in day-to-day operations. His/her job is to maintain quality standards, while performing tasks in an effective and efficient manner. Regardless of the assignment, this role requires a high degree of troubleshooting and root cause analysis along with effective communication.
The Quality Field Tech will maintain safety standards throughout all aspects of their assignments. When testing, the operator will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions. Outside exposure is dependent on weather conditions, and may include heat, sunlight, cold, rain, etc. Individual will operate onsite and offsite depending on test request. Must be able to operate under the same standards offsite as you would onsite. Will periodically operate box truck or trailer for transportation of equipment. Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
This position will require a lifting up to 50lbs and assisted lift up to 100lbs and to ensure proper safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:Manage Optimus Care+ 48hr no downtime product loaner program including logging and tracking assets.Load, transport, and unload product to dealers / end users as required.Maintain a professional image.Manage facility and maintenance service providers - scheduling, accessing building. Local contact for facility maintenance.Receive sample deliveriesOpen, close, and secure building as required.Repair new inventory according to rework instructions. Use of testing equipment and be able to determine pass/fail tolerance range.Diagnose and repair minor issues on loaner products.Prepare new units for delivery to customers. This includes some assembly, functional testing, and documenting results.Order and inventory parts / equipment needed to support field service operationsFollowing outlined directionParticipate in product knowledge training.Effective time management with ability to prioritize workload demands.Comply with all Greenworks policies and procedures with special attention on workplace safety.Work overtime as required.Performs all other duties as requested.Experience Required:
HS Diploma. Preference for college / trade school diploma / certificate.English & Spanish language proficiency - verbal and written.Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, and motivated, and must work well individually or as a member of a team.Organizational, task driven and time management skills.Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team memberSelf-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilitiesAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.Accomplished contributor with cross-functional team environmentsDemonstrated proficiency with computer data entry.Familiarity with outdoor equipmentBe able to work as a cross functional Team member.Compensation and Benefits:
