Job Overview

The Data Developer is responsible for supporting the business areas in developing business intelligence solutions by leveraging the Microsoft Technology Platform (SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI). They are responsible for developing data products and solutions for the organization including the design, development, testing, and implementation of databases, data sets, integration pipelines, Business Intelligence, and analytics solutions. Additionally, the role implements configuration and support of data solutions. This role requires the candidate to work at least one day per week in the Ballantyne office located in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll DoDesign, build, install, configure, and support data solutions, maintaining security and data privacy.Conduct performance tuning or optimization of data solutions along with testing and support.Collect data utilizing various analytical and reporting tools and setting up and maintaining new studies related to departmental KPIs and metric trendingStructure data in a format that permits for a wider range of data analysis without interruption to production serversDevelop complex SQL stored procedures/views as requiredCreate variety of complex reports using BI tools such as Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services, including but not limited to drill down, drill through, tabular, matrix, dashboard, multi parameter reports, etc.Build integration pipelines leveraging data from heterogeneous sources including but not limited to flat files, Excel documents, varying RDBMSs, REST APIs and low/no code toolsetsDevelop and support business process automation using SQL, custom code & vendor toolsetsProvide advice and guidance on database good practices, and input on systems architectureImplement internal controls and processes to reduce reporting inaccuracies and improve efficiency.Ensure adherence to the implementation of effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early detection of risk items & active team involvementAbility to work at least one day per week in the Ballantyne office in Charlotte, NCWhat We Need

All DH employees must be able to work cooperatively as team membersBachelor's degree5+ years of Data Engineering and Development5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development.
