The demand-planning organization of
Tempur Sealy
is responsible for the development of a demand forecast for both Tempur and Sealy within the US. The Collaborative, Planning, Forecast, & Replenishment (CPFR) Analyst position is focused on joint planning and collaboration with key strategic TSI partners. The role involves the management of TSI inventory replenishment at the SKU level using various planning tools such as Arkieva, Excel, Power BI, Oracle and A/X. This role will drive supply chain activities that help meet customer in-stock goals, inventory targets, overall sales goals, and maintain fill rates. The CPFR work optimizes TSI's replenishment processes, and it ultimately benefits TSI's Supply Chain by generating a more accurate (baseline) customer forecast that can be used for internal planning. These activities require tight business linkages and communication that are critical for success.
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Lead the weekly/monthly customer level forecast generation process.
Compile and analyze historical data, market trends, promotions and opportunities.
Coordinates and synchronizes new product introductions with key retailers.
Responsible for analyzing trends through internal order data and customer POS reporting.
Monitors retailers inventory levels against POS to predict/prevent internal demand risks.
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to internal cross functional teams while driving continuous improvement.
Lead and/or participate in collaboration call with key customers/retailers.
Collaborate closely with internal/external category management, sales, merchandising and planning teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
BA/BS with an emphasis in Supply Chain management, Category Management, Marketing or related degree, OR equivalent experience
3 to 5 years Planning or Supply Chain experience
Consumer product industry and/or manufacturing support experience a plus
Proficient with desktop applications, including advanced Excel skills
Experience with planning software (ex: SAP, Arkieva, Oracle, Logility, etc.)
PowerBI proficiency a plus
APICS, IBF or equivalent certification desired
S&OP and/or IBP process improvement experience.
