Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Responsible for the forecast generation for assigned category/channel
Drive yearly improvements in demand accuracy through continued focus on process improvements (customer level forecasting, demand sensing and shaping techniques, etc)
Compile and analyze historical data, market trends, promotions and opportunities
Studies purchase trends against promotions and seasonal performance
Coordinates and synchronizes new product introductions with brand, sales and key retailers
Use and maintain current demand-planning systems to create the best forecast possible using established processes
Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics
Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning reports to identify and fix potential issues
Communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups
Preparation of relevant reporting/presentations utilized but not limited to monthly forecast alignment and demand reviews
Conduct accuracy analyses to maintain validity of forecast and assumptions.
Develop and analyze metrics in concert with customer that track forecast performance
Report adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal and external stakeholders
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement
Assist with daily/weekly report generation and deliver ad-hoc reports as required
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
BA/BS with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Category Management, Marketing or related degree, OR equivalent experience
3 years Planning or Supply Chain experience
APICS or IBF certification desired
Consumer products industry and/or manufacturing support experience a plus
Experience with S&OP Process Improvement
Travel Required -
up to 15%
