RESPONSIBILITIESReview plant maintenance requests to formulate labor, material, special tools, job-specific safety precautions, and equipment requirements (material monitoring and delivery thereof) and prepare backlog.Develop and/or support job plans by creating SAP task lists for Evonik and internal and external contractors to ensure quality craftsmanship with high regard for employee safety and maintenance cost reduction.Develop weekly planning and schedule with input from gatekeeper, and maintenance supervisor after receiving priorities for the following week.Analyze work and material requests for compliance with established Evonik standards and workflow and provide accurate estimates through the use of established time standards and job knowledge.Create job packages when necessary to include drawings, work order history, PIDs sketches, BOM (Bill of Material) lists, loop sheets, ISOs, safety requirements, and other documentation depending on the size of the job.Other Responsibilities:
Maintain and update CMMS SAP data daily for accurate information.Offer technical recommendations to various departments.Review and adjust maintenance plans based on work order feedback.Ensure work orders are properly closed and filed.Use feedback to refine future planning, including materials and safety.Liaise with engineers for Continuous Improvement and propose changes.Balance immediate needs with long-term backlog analysis and BOM updates.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or Industry-related degree preferred.7-10 years in plant maintenance or construction, emphasizing planning, scheduling, and management in an industrial setting.Proficiency in SAP, maintenance scheduling tools, and reading construction drawings.CMRP certification preferred for expertise in maintenance and reliability.Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, leadership, and team-building abilities.Understanding of mechanical and instrument process equipment and precision maintenance practices.Diligence, reliability, cost awareness, and ability to work under pressure.Hands-on experience with craft work in a plant environment.
