Overview:
As an Application Identity Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's identity infrastructure. You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end identity process for our tech stack, both within Okta and the applications behind it, as well as those not connected to Okta. Your expertise will be crucial in managing critical applications like Zoom and other multi-team used applications with SOX implications.
The impact you'll make:
Own the entire identity process for our tech stack, from Okta to backend applications.
Okta and Application Management: Manage Okta and the applications behind it, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Serve as the primary responsible party for Zoom w/Salesforce and other multi-team used applications with SOX requirements.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Okta's Workforce Identity Cloud and Identity Governance offerings.
Utilize scripting languages like Python, Go, Bash, etc., to automate tasks and design solutions.
Assist in managing our organization's software catalog.
Design and implement robust solutions using APIs, scripting, and other tools. Self-manage projects to completion.
Leverage experience with AWS and GCP to manage cloud-based identity infrastructure.
Understand authentication protocols like Okta and SAML-based configurations.
Possess experience in identity and access management (IAM).
Implement zero trust security models to enhance organizational security.
What you've accomplished:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree or work experience
5+ years’ experience in related field/role
Proven application identity engineering, with a strong focus on Okta.
Deep understanding of Okta's Workforce Identity Cloud and Identity Governance.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, Bash, etc.
Knowledge of authentication protocols, especially Okta, OAuth and SAML-based configurations.
The base range for this position is $112,000.00- $125,000.00 per year.
