A Day In The Life The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, SS&P will assist will support company procedures to support business essential procurement, contracting, analytics, and sourcing requirements. The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist will assist with procurement activities related to contracting and support full life cycle of procure to pay. As a Sourcing Specialist you will: Procurement: Generate, monitor, and reconcile purchase orders, Identify annual blanket and renewal purchase order list Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet company procurement needs through 7 Step or other similar sourcing process Develop relationship with Accounts Payable to support supplier payment, supplier set up, resolve issues, Additional PO issue resolution and ongoing management. Contracting: Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure terms and conditions represent organizational interest, Leverage contract templates with vendors, contract negotiations, administration and management, Secure and ensure successful implementation of contracts and supplier transitions, Analyze and support corporate contract repository requirements. Manage assigned supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Sourcing Strategy: Responsible for working with internal business to gather and assess business requirements, Conduct spend analysis, needs assessment, and support business case development, Identifies cost savings, spend reduction, supplier consolidation, standardization opportunities while maintaining/increasing quality, service and mitigating risk, Create, report on, and provide recommendations regarding industry and market trends, Support team on analytical needs and requirements, Responsible for proactive communications to internal business and for customer satisfaction, including supplier performance monitoring/reporting, Address and resolve issues and minimize escalation opportunities. What We Need From You Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Technical and Process Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba (or other similar P2P/S2P system(s). Analytical Capability (intermediate) Data Analysis (spend, supplier, contracts) - create, collect and analyze data to make recommendations. Project and Time Mgmt- excellent time management and project management skills. Ability to participate in projects in collaborative environment with competing priorities. Creative and Strategic Skills: Day to Day support on procurement activities and requirements. Sourcing Strategy Formulation and Implementation Interpersonal & People Skills: Demonstrated Leadership and Team player qualities Personable, professional with the ability to display an extroverted personality. Responsible for Collaboration and Selling to internal BU's and Suppliers on sourcing opportunities and lowering TCO. Excellent Communication Skills- not only written/verbal, but ability to listen effectively and then act appropriately Preferred Requirements: Experience within MRO. Facilities Management, or other defined category supporting operations within a multi-site manufacturing environment ISM, APICS, or other similar certification within the procurement and supply chain space Ability to complete projects and assignments on-time with minimal supervision DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
