We’re a 30-year-old innovative company witha rich history of delivering exceptional service and quality care in desirable,enriching residential environments.Discovery Senior Living is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction team.This role is required to be at our home office in Bonita Springs, FL.This position is a Construction, Design, and Development based position that provides administrative support, accounting functions and project specific tasks for the Construction and Design Teams. This position reports directly to the Director of Renovations.Responsibilities:Organizing and filing of all project documentationProvide recordkeeping to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation on all plans, reports, and other related documents. Order and Archive Digital Blueprints & Schematics for Future AccessTrack project related documentation; including RFI’s / Submittals, Permits, Plan Revisions, Budgets, Pay Applications, Bids, Contracts, Invoices, and Change OrdersAssists in preparation of monthly project status reports on all construction and design projects.Coordinate and document meeting / timeline updates as required for the duration of project(s).Initiate internal invoices for both Discovery Development and Discovery Design Concepts to Communities and/or Equity Funding Group to obtain payments as needed based on project specifics.Schedule meetings, conference calls, monthly coordination meetings, etc.Provide duties as required for execution of Special Projects; FFE Procurement Tracking, Vendor and Contractor Vetting and Setup, Contracts, NOC’s, and any Project specific requirements as neededEnsure delivery of all necessary documentation regarding real estate closing transactions to legal teams and/or financial organizations.
This documentation is generally categorized as confidential and needs to be treated as such.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure construction and design teams have the materials necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must possess fluent computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Pointe and other Microsoft based software.Most possess the ability to work with web-based software systems like Sharefile and Dropbox.Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast pace environmentStrong basis of knowledge in project scope development, design, construction, and project managementKnowledge of construction practices, procedures, design, and materialsOffice experience; documentation skills, telephone skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, dependability, written and verbal communication skills, collaboration skills.Must be able to travel up to 20%.Benefits:In addition to a rewarding career and competitive salary, Discovery offers a comprehensive benefit package.Eligible team members are offered a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, paid time off and paid holidays.
