Mid-Level Software Testing Engineer
in our cutting-edge BMD Simulations and Analysis Portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of test engineers, software developers, and analysts to enhance our customer's software product testing capabilities in a missile defense modeling and simulation environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive software test procedures to ensure feature and requirement verification.Create and configure complex test scenarios simulating real-world conditions.Produce detailed software test documentation for tracking and analysis.Work closely with stakeholders and government customers to verify requirements effectively.Engage in an Agile team environment, contributing to Program Increment Planning, Iteration Planning, and Sprint Reviews.Participate in live demos and provide insights during program Sprint reviews.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or a related ABET-accredited degree) with at least 8 years of experience in real-time software application design, development, and testing; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.Proficient in GitLab/Git for software configuration management.Familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS.Experience with programming network connections, including message generation and formatting, as well as UDP and TCP/IP interfaces.Ability to demonstrate basic understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.Must be a US Citizen and eligible to maintain a Final Secret Clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience with automation in testing or analysis.Hands-on Agile Scrum experience.Knowledge of Java and user interface development.Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.Experience with multi-core and multi-threaded programming.Understanding of MDA Sensors and missile defense systems.Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools.Basic knowledge of systems engineering concepts.Location:
The job may require relocation to the Huntsville, Alabama area.Pay Range:
$101,400.00 - $183,300.00. Note: Compensation may vary based on a variety of factors including responsibilities, experience, and other considerations.
