Creates, manages, and organizes electronic data and then processes and analyzes this data using various software and database systems. Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations based on data analysis.Prepares and maintains accurate databases and spreadsheets.Conducts basic statistical analyses and data modeling.Assists in the development of procedures to transform data for statistical analyses.Runs existing SQL queries to obtain data for analyses.Supports data extraction, analysis, and reporting relating to facilities, scheduling, and space utilization.Runs/Maintains geocoding data on students and faculty/staff.Supports the integration of R data models with BI Dashboards.Assists in the design and implementation of BI Dashboards.Assists in creating workflows for data mining and parsing.Designs, creates and maintain datasets and dashboards related to Space Management and to Financial Systems.Project lead in meetings, analyses and data validation required to submit clean and accurate data for the BOG space file submission and semesterly space updates.Works with External consultant and the university's athletic department to collect, analyze and report athlete outcome measures to the NCAA.Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience or a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL queries and stored procedures, use of SPSS, SAS, MS Excel and/or Access for analysis and report creation.Basic knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical concepts.Knowledge of predictive analytics and ability to interpret predictive models.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database systems.
