The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role requires a strong background in financial planning and analysis, along with extensive data analysis and technical skills. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, enhance financial forecasting, and optimize overall financial performance.

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you are a detail-oriented professional who thrives on uncovering trends and identifying issues within financial data. Your analytical mindset enables you to dig deep into the numbers, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You take pride in your accuracy and meticulousness, ensuring that every report and forecast reflects the highest standards of precision. What You Will Do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance, incorporating revenue growth, expense drivers, headcount and margin analysisCalculate commissions for various teams across the organizationWork as a business partner with internal departments and hold quarterly department reviews with the leads to improve accuracy of forecast and understand variancesAct as a trusted financial advisor, leveraging data to guide decisions on growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and operational improvementsReview and analyze 3 statement model to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and provide strategic insights for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningContinuously enhance financial planning tools, processes, and methodologies to improve decision-making efficiency and reporting accuracyManipulate and analyze raw data to frame questions, analysis and meaningful and unbiased decision points for executives / stakeholders to make informed, efficient decisionsAct as liaison for relevant critical initiatives, and help develop and track implementation plans to ensure the right level of focus and fieldPerform scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, pricing analysis and business case modeling for new opportunities, product launches, or market changesLead ROI analyses on new investments, projects, and partnerships, making data-driven recommendations for prioritization and resource allocationEvaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, assessing risks and opportunities to optimize profitabilityConduct other in-depth ad hoc analyses to inform executive decision-making, often under tight deadlinesSupports process related to potential acquisitions and other strategic investment initiativesWhat You Will Bring:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, data, or related field5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on ad hoc and strategic analysis,preferably in technology/SaaSExperience using FP&A software systems (Vena) a plusDemonstrated expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting analysisFamiliarity with accounting & key operational metricsProven experience analyzing data and using findings to influence decision makingAbility to extract insight from data and translate into actionable plansAdvanced Excel skills - demonstrated experience with pivot tables, complex formulas, and ability to work with large datasetsIntellectual curiosity and creativityHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented self-starter with strong communication skills
