Position Overview
Our client, a fast-growing company in the
Denver Metro Area , is seeking a
Director of FP&A
to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The
Director of FP&A
will be crucial in aligning financial strategies with business objectives and driving company growth. The candidate will work
on-site 5 days a week .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function , overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Develop and maintain advanced
financial models
to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.Provide
data-driven insights
and financial recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions.Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
alignment between financial goals
and
business objectives .Manage the
capital allocation process , conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.Lead
monthly and quarterly financial reviews , presenting financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.Support
M&A activities , including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.Continuously improve
FP&A processes
and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.Qualifications
Proven experience as a
Director of FP&A
or in a senior financial leadership role.Expertise in
financial modeling , forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Strong track record of providing
strategic financial insights
to support executive-level decision-making.Experience with
M&A activities
and financial analysis.Advanced proficiency in financial systems and
Microsoft Excel .Strong
leadership and communication skills , with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Bachelor's degree
in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranging from
$160,000 to $175,000
per year, depending on experience.Performance-based bonus
