Position Overview
Our client, a fast-growing company in the
Nashville Metro Area , is seeking a
Director of FP&A
to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling while providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The
Director of FP&A
will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategies and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position requires the candidate to work
on-site 3 days a week .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function , including overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Develop and maintain detailed
financial models
to support strategic decision-making and business performance analysis.Provide
data-driven insights
and recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape financial and operational strategies.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights to improve profitability and drive growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
alignment between financial objectives
and
business goals .Manage the
capital allocation process , conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.Lead
monthly and quarterly financial reviews , presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.Support
M&A activities , including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.Continuously improve
FP&A processes
and reporting systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.Qualifications
Proven experience as a
Director of FP&A
or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally in a high-growth environment.Expertise in
financial modeling , forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Strong track record of providing
strategic financial insights
to support executive decision-making.Experience with
M&A activities , including financial due diligence and integration.Advanced proficiency in financial systems and
Microsoft Excel .Excellent
leadership and communication skills , with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Bachelor's degree
in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranging from
$165,000 to $185,000
per year, depending on experience.Performance-based bonus
