Position Overview

Our client, a fast-growing company in the

Washington, DC Metro Area , is seeking a

Manager of FP&A

to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Manager of FP&A will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling while providing key insights to support executive decision-making. This role is critical for aligning financial strategies with business objectives. The position requires the candidate to work

on-site 3 days a week .

Key Responsibilities

Lead the

financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function , including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.Develop and maintain detailed

financial models

to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.Provide

data-driven insights

and financial recommendations to senior leadership to guide business strategy.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure

alignment between financial goals

and

operational objectives .Support the

capital allocation process , conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.Lead

monthly and quarterly financial reviews , presenting financial insights to executive leadership.Continuously improve

FP&A processes

and reporting systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Manager of FP&A

or in a senior financial analyst role.Expertise in

financial modeling , budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.Strong experience providing

strategic financial insights

to support executive-level decision-making.Proficiency in financial systems and

Microsoft Excel .Excellent

leadership and communication skills , with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.Bachelor's degree

in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranging from

$145,000 to $165,000

per year, depending on experience.Performance-based bonus
