It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely for three (3) or more days a week and will share a hoteling workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

The Sr. Developer, Technology is responsible for collaborating with the Delivery team to ensure the solutions developed will deliver value and improve the quality of the software. This includes partnering with the Systems Analyst and Testers on the Delivery team to define tasks and provide final estimates for User Stories. The Developers are responsible for attending and participating in all Scrum ceremonies.

About This Role:

Duties may include:Technical Solution Development : Design and implement scalable web applications using Java Spring Bootfor the back end and React.js for the front end, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with architectural guidelines.Technical Design Collaboration : Work with the Lead Developer and Solutions Architect to update technical designs and ensure scalable and robust solutions.Sprint Planning and Story Refinement : Collaborate closely with the squad to refine User Stories, ensuring they are fully prepared for Sprint Planning and aligned with business needs.Defect Resolution : Work with the squad to identify and resolve defects promptly, ensuring the quality of each release and minimizing production issues.Coding and Standards Compliance : Develop software based on standards and designs, including writing code, creating build and deployment scripts, and developing automated tests at the unit and functional levels.System Architecture : Contribute to the architecture and design of complex systems, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.API Development : Create and integrate

RESTful APIs

to facilitate efficient communication between client and server.Frontend Development: Create and integrate micro frontends focusing on reuse across the organization.Performance Optimization : Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability across devices and browsers.Code Quality and Best Practices : Ensure high-quality code by following best practices in development, testing, and deployment, focusing on maintainability and readability.Team Collaboration : Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver technically sound and user-centered solutions.Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing development practices to deliver modern, effective solutions.The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Experience:

5-10 years in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on

Java Spring Boot

and

React.js .Technical Skills:

Back-End

5-10+ years experience with Java Spring Boot, developing and implementing RESTful and SOAP services.5+ years of experience in implementing microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Gradle, Maven, and Apache ANT.Front-End :

2+ years' experience with modern front-end libraries (React, Vue).2+ years' experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ECMAScript, and utility frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.Proficiency with TypeScript or JSDoc for typed front-end code.Experience developing UI applications using micro-frontend (MFE) architecture.Additional Skills :

3-5 years' experience with AWS cloud services.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).Proficient in Junit, Jest and vitest for unit and functional testing; familiarity with msw for request mocking.Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or SQL Server.Experience with Git, particularly with Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.Working knowledge of Java Struts is a plus.Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $86,340.00-$142,460.00

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
