Oracle SCM ERP Platform Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview The Computing and Information Technology Directorate works to re-imagine how digital technologies can simplify the research experience, enable data-driven insights for decision makers, and accelerate PNNL's research missions. CIT helps connect staff to systems while enabling a broader research computing ecosystem to improve productivity and provide a sense of community. Responsibilities PNNL is embarking on a multi-year effort to replace our legacy ERP Human Capital Management and Financial systems. We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) ERP Platform Engineer who in partnership with business and technology will lead the technical implementation and sustainment of the new Oracle SCM ERP solution. The Oracle Cloud SCM ERP Platform Engineer will serve as a technical expert in Oracle, evaluating, designing, and implementing technology solutions aligned with business needs and the broader enterprise architectural vision. They will partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, implementation partner(s), and Agile delivery teams to bring to life and sustain a fully implemented ERP solution. They will offer in-depth technical expertise in Oracle SCM and provide configuration management, technical dependency analysis, and configure the ERP solution with the workflows, reports, interfaces, configurations, extensions, and forms necessary to meet requirements. They also support upgrade and patch management, incident management, and unit testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle ERP Cloud SCM implementation and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Leverage a mix of consultation skills, technical expertise, and business domain knowledge to effectively implement technology solutions to achieve business results. + Facilitate sessions with business partners and other stakeholders to elicit and document requirements. + Prepare functional and technical specifications for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions. + Configure Oracle Cloud ERP SCM according to requirements and test configurations. + Ensure that capabilities are delivered through optimal system configurations, settings, and controls. + Partner with business stakeholders and Solutions Architect on product vision, requirements definition (functional and non-functional), and capability analysis to ensure the product features support desired outcomes. + Configure Oracle Cloud ERP SCM modules (Order Management, Inventory Management, Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, etc.) + Enhance Oracle Cloud ERP SCM applications as needed to meet business needs. + Provide ongoing support for Oracle Cloud ERP SCM applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. + Lead technical teams to identify and address system performance issues. + Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and adherence to business requirements. + Provide training on Oracle Cloud ERP SCM applications and best practices. + Develop and maintain user documentation, including process manuals and training materials. Required Skills: + Experience supporting, configuring, and implementing Oracle SCM modules. + In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud SCM functionality, configurations, and best practices. + Experience with full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. + Proficiency in configurations, integrations, and reporting using Oracle ERP Cloud SCM tools. + 5 years of ERP and Configuration Management experience with 3 years of Oracle ERP Cloud experience. + Strong understanding of supply chain processes. + Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: + BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience OR + MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience OR + PhD and 1 year of relevant experience OR + AA and 14 years of relevant experience OR + HS/GED and 16 years of relevant experience + Demonstrated experience applying theoretical/fundamental computer science concepts through the design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of computer infrastructure and networks Preferred Qualifications: + Oracle Certifications + Agile Certifications (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, etc.) + Proven record of multiple successful Oracle ERP SCM implementations Hazardous Working Conditions/Environment Not Applicable Additional Information Due to business needs and client space, US Citizenship is required. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is subject to the Department of Energy Unclassified Foreign National Access Program site, information, technologies, and equipment access requirements. While this position can be remote, it is a requirement that the person hired will travel to PNNL campus around 25% of the time, especially during program milestones (requirements gathering, UAT, etc.).
