As an essential member of the L3Harris Contracts Team, you will be responsible for a comprehensive suite of functions that ensure the success and integrity of our contract management process. This role includes:Conducting in-depth RFP analysis, identifying risks, and crafting compelling proposals in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.Aligning contracts with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations.Developing competitive bids and proposals tailored to customer needs and organizational objectives.Leading contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and an executable business deal are reached.Managing the contract administration process for optimal support of internal and external customers.Serving as the key liaison between L3Harris and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Working with cross functional teams to evaluate performance costs, performance, and delivery schedules to ensure contract accuracy and completeness.Managing change processes in dynamic environments, coordinating with internal teams, and preserving rights for adjustments.Demonstrating independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Proactively contributing strategic insights to business operations for continuous execution and improvement.Building strong relationships and enhancing team dynamics.Prioritizing tasks with urgency to meet multiple deadlines and customer commitments.Advising management on contractual rights and obligations to protect company interests.Maintaining detailed records for all contracts managed.Clearly presenting information to various stakeholders, including management.Acting as a stand-in for the Sr. Manager, maintaining leadership excellence as needed.Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Currently holds an Active Secret security clearance with the eligibility and willingness to progress to a Top Secret clearance as required.Education/ Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Brings a wealth of knowledge with relevant experience in Government Contracts, demonstrating a deep understanding and practical application of regulations and standards.Regulatory Expertise: Has a strong command of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), ensuring compliance and strategic guidance in complex contractual environments.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
