HOW A
ABMS SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR SME
WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systemsManages the organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and softwareProvides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architecturesTroubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issuesTrains end users on the proper use of hardware and softwarePerforms software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesMonitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levelsEnsures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutionsEvaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategiesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
Required Technical Skills: Experience with Windows Server and Workstation administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Office / O365, comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications, experience maintaining file / print / application serversSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibilityRequired Skills and Abilities: Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II accessLocation: Hampton, Virginia

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
