HOW A ABMS NETWORK ENGINEER SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network problems.
Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
May provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Comprehensive knowledge of network engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
Knowledge of Data Center and Virtualization
Knowledge of Automation techniques and structure
Participates in special projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Required Experience: 8+ years of related Network Engineering experience. Required Technical Skills: Expert knowledge in Application and Infrastructure Availability, and Application performance. Expert oral and written communicator, with experience in briefing government customers.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of IP data networking and all network security.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access

The likely salary range for this position is $104,780 - $141,762. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
