Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Investments the Senior Financial Analyst, Asset Management will be an organized, detail-focused candidate with sound knowledge of real estate investment concepts. The Senior Financial Analyst, Asset Management will work with portfolio and asset management to perform asset and portfolio level financial risk / opportunity analysis and projections. The position will interact with many business functions as well as senior and executive management.
Selected responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of annual property-level budgets and monthly cash flow reforecasts for assigned portfolioConduct regular variance analyses to ensure property performance is consistent with business plan and budgetDevelop and maintain financial models to forecast leasing activity and other portfolio-level metricsDrive the onboarding process for new portfolio investments and ensure proper data collection procedures are in placeReview and abstract various legal documents including leases and operating agreementsPrepare ad hoc strategic financial analyses in support of asset and senior managementInteract with several departments including Leasing, Property Management and Legal on various asset and portfolio management projectsMaintain monthly reporting packages deliverable to Asset ManagersWork with senior leadership to develop yearly strategy planMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The ideal Portfolio Analyst will posses the following qualities:
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, real estate or related field1-4 years experience in a finance or data focused role. CFA, REFM and/or CPA a plus.GPA of 3.5 or higherAsset and/or portfolio management of non-residential assets (office, industrial, hospitality etc.)Proficient in Excel, strong financial modeling skills. ARGUS preferred.Ability to work with large data setsHighly motivated self-starter who works well in flexible environment

Base salary, bonus and opportunity to work with an amazing team!
Senior Analyst level will pay roughly $80,000 to $90,000 plus bonus. Willing to go slightly higher for an exceptionally qualified applicant.
