Job Description:As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions to modernize public health data systems. You will collaborate closely with the Director, Data Strategy Administrators, and other stakeholders. This role is pivotal in achieving successful data modernization and will involve developing a technical roadmap that aligns with the Client's vision and priorities, architecting robust, scalable, and secure data systems, driving innovative solutions to enhance data collection, analysis, and dissemination for better public health decision-making, and providing technical guidance and support to ensure the effective use of modern data technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a technical roadmap for data modernization that aligns with the Client's vision and prioritiesArchitect robust, scalable, and secure data systems that can handle modern public health surveillance demandsDrive innovative solutions to enhance data collection, analysis, and dissemination for better public health decision-makingProvide technical guidance and support to ensure effective use of modern data technologies
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in programming languages, database management, system design, networking, cloud services, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity measuresHands-on experience in roles such as software developer, systems analyst, or network engineer to build a technical foundationLeadership and communication skills to lead teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrategic planning and road mapping ability to outline technological direction and assess the impact of new technologiesProficiency in modeling and diagramming tools and methodologies for designing IT systemsExperience in integrating various systems to create cohesive solutions that meet organizational needsKnowledge of security protocols and measures to protect sensitive public health dataFamiliarity with DevOps methodologies to improve system deployment and operational efficiencyExperience performing analysis, designing, documenting, and implementing an organization's enterprise architecture structural frameworkKnowledge of information technology (IT) information and analytics platforms and products (e.g., Data Bricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Experience in the health industry
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
