JOB SUMMARY Provide leadership to the team at the facility. This position ensures a safe work environment, compliance with all governing regulations and optimum performance of the equipment and the people. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure facility is operated safely and establish preventative practices to continue to improve the safety performance of the site. Ensure site is in full regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Ensure adherence to operations standards and best practices for safety, environmental compliance and operational efficiencies. Implement process improvements for efficiencies, utility consumption, safety and environmental compliance. Manage operations and maintenance activities to maximize facility production. Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements. Develop site strategies that are aligned with company and business Manage inbound & outbound materials directly with sales team and transportation team. Manage facility budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure Manage the operational and financial performance of the Maintain, develop and improve relationships to customers, local authorizes, regulatory agencies, and neighborhood communities. Foster positive employee relations in order to maintain a strong non-union Build, develop and manage personnel capable of carrying out operational Through the Talent Review Process, continue to develop employees to improve business performance and continue to attract and retain the best possible employees. Expected to exhibit and demonstrate safe behaviors and to perform job in a safe Reports directly to Plant Manager.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrated strong interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills. Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment. Process and Systems oriented. Ability to self-manage, direct supervisory and management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including executive management. Ability to obtain any necessary state certifications and licenses that are required. Maintenance & Technical systems experience including CMMS experience implementation and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering and/or related industry experience. 5-10 years management experience. Facility management in industrial environment. P & L responsibility. Knowledge of California Labor Laws. Knowledge of OSHA and State/Federal safety rules and regulations preferred. Computer proficiency. Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
