The Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking applicants for one Systems Project Analyst position located in Florida. This position is a member of a fast-paced application development team focused on new and enhanced development in ASP.NET. This position is a

“hands-on”

developer for .NET application development projects.The ideal candidates must be highly motivated and have a strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment. The candidate should have demonstrated working experience in providing software development for applications developed on an Enterprise level.The candidate for this position will be responsible for architecture design/upgrades, programming, planning, and implementing a project, working with a team of developers; able to follow DJJ’s Information Systems Development Methodology; able to troubleshoot and resolve system problems, able to analyze statewide agency business requirements and design systems to meet those business requirements; and able to develop user-friendly WEB applications as well as client/server systems.Candidates must have professional experience as a technical team leader and experience with web application development using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Reporting, Visual Studio, .NET Framework 3.5 / 4.0, Core 3.0 or higher, C#, MVC, knowledge of Microsoft Azure, relational databases SQL Server, and SSIS packages.PREFERRED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:5 years

of experience in leading .NET development teams,

5 years

of working experience in Web application development,

5 years

of working experience in .NET applications development and

5+ years

of working experience in relational SQL database application development and web application development using Visual Studio, ASP.NET, VB.NET programming, Visual Basic programming, SharePoint, C#, MVC, Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL Server 2012 or later, IIS 7, SQL Reporting and creating SSIS packages.Normal work hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., however, working on weekends to deploy applications may occasionally be required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles and best practices.Knowledge of relational database design.Knowledge of the concepts and theories of data processing and data communications.Ability to work as part of a team, resolve problems and perform technical leadership duties.Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, subordinates, technical staff and users.Ability to complete work assignments while working with business analysts and other technical staff.Ability to follow operational and maintenance procedures.Ability to utilize integrated development environment tools such as Visual Studio.Ability to work independently and with a team.Ability to coordinate the activities of team members.Ability to write, read and interpret technical specifications, test cases and software requirements.Ability to design, develop and test web-based, database-driven applications using industry standard techniques and guidelines.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing applications.Skill in deployment of web-based applications.Skills operating as a technical lead for application development teams.Skill in analyzing and interpreting technical data.Skill in developing and executing unit and system tests.Skill in developing program specifications.Skill in Object Oriented analysis and design.Skill with programming using .NET, C#, MVC.Skill in programming using SQL Server databases.Skill in using source code configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server.SPECIAL NOTES:
