Responsibilities

Summary

This position provides introductory systems and technology support for applications affecting the Human Resources department and includes data entry, data quality assurance, document maintenance, workflow monitoring, project support, simple analytics/reporting, issue resolution & escalation, and general application support in a fast-paced environment As an entry level HRIS position, this role should understand basic Human Resource procedures and practices, have a strong quality mindset, and be able to prioritize and multi-task while possessing an inquisitive nature, some technical adeptness, display self-starter traits and provide a high customer service acumen.Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Monitors the HRIS team Inbox and either resolves requests or escalates to the appropriate HRIS resource. May follow-up with resource or requester to ensure resolution of the requests and also ensure closure of ticket/email request. Tickets may be managed through GEO's ticketing system, email and/or UKG's case management solution (via HR Service Delivery) as instructed by HRIS senior staff.Reviews submitted workflows for data accuracy, using provided checklists and guidelines to determine if data errors exist. May communicate with initiator of request or send back (reject) if data standards are not accurate. Timeliness of the data review is important as these transactions often impact payroll or business operations.Generates pre-developed data audit reports, reviews for accuracy and addresses deficiencies either directly or working with field HR staff or other HRIS team members.Gathers HR documents that will be used for creating Google-like self-service query tool in UKG's HR Service Delivery module. These documents will be tagged (categorized), saved digitally, monitored for changes needed and adjusted following established procedures.Monitors the usage of the self-service query tool to determine if discrepancies exist between current documents and answers employees may be seeking. Brings this to the attention of senior HRIS staff to seek remedies such as additional documents.Participates in the gathering, itemizing, tagging and sorting of physical employee documents to be used in conversion to electronic document management solution in UKG.May be engaged in the transference of the employee documents from physical form to digitization following established practices set up by senior HRIS staff.Understands the overall usage of the UKG application across the functionality and modules as directed by HRIS senior staff using UKG's Community training (UltiUniversity) to remain current on capabilities. It may be necessary to provide some level of support to many UKG modules, where the support will be communicated by HRIS senior staff, so remaining up-to-date on UKG functionality is important.May work with HRIS senior staff to execute and document application test plans and results.May assist in the documentation of UKG following proscribed methodologies as directed by HRIS senior staff.Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in Human Resources or in a data quality capacity preferred.Good working knowledge and familiarity with computer-based technology.One year experience working with an HR Information System preferred.Very good organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are required.Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times, due to the handling of sensitive and confidential information.Must have proven history of ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other computer programs and software normally used by Human Resources.The GEO Group, Inc.
