Mission Technologies is leading the next evolution of national defense – the data evolution - by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customers.HII is looking for a Project Lead for software development who can support the Air Force and DoD Technology Transfer and Transition (T3) programs with the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the Defense Technology Transfer Information System (DTTIS). Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.• Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.• Manage direct reports, including labor planning (including assigning personnel to projects), financial budgets, tasking, and oversight of staff in one performing training curriculum analysis, implementation, and evaluation.• Responsible for ensuring project work products and deliverables are developed in accordance with organizational standard processes.• Establish and support program and organizational objectives.• Facilitate and reinforce successful project execution.• Work closely, collaboratively and communicate effectively with all members of the project team including government and contractors.Minimum Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.• Strong knowledge and understanding of the full software engineering & development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering/scoping to production grade products• Experience in supporting AGILE methodology for software development lifecycle• Experience with JIRA, DevOPS or other software development management systems• Experience and/or knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and technology solution stack and services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure and government cloud hosting services and platforms such as Cloud One• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Willingness to work off-core-hours, when necessary, to deploy software or upgrade hardware• Decisiveness under pressure and strong critical thinking skills• Great time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritizeActive Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain a clearance is requiredThe listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
